I have decided it’s time to take a break from the whole Project Sanitarium thing.  Since Melovine decided to hang it up, a piece of me and this site hung it up too.  I still love music and it will ALWAYS be an important part of my life, I’ll rely on it to get me through bad times and be there in the good as always, but I can no longer have my life revolve around music the way it has the past few years.  It served me well over the past few years to get me through my personal situation, helped me fill a void I didn’t know how else to fill.  Things have once again changed and I am now ready to move into a new chapter in my life, I’m ready to find something else to fill the void left by the changes over the past few years, what exactly that is, I don’t know, what I do know is that I’m now ready to find out what it is, or who it is.  Music will be with me along the way no doubt, it just may no longer be the driving force to everything in my life, it’s a needed change, I can feel it.  Things always change, so I may be back here at some point, but for now, ProjectSanitarium is signing off…

This Friday, 4/20, it’s going down at Scout Bar! My friends in Saturate headline the party that is sure to be a good time. I have a friend coming in from New Mexico that I’m going to bring to the show so she can see what local Houston music is about and the only reason I like Houston.

Tonight’s Texas Buzz show at Scout Bar features Hounds of Jezebel.  These guys kicks some serious ass, so I’ll be heading out to Scout to check them out, I’d suggest you do the same!

No, not a local band, but I really like Hurt and the first single from their upcoming album is about living life with regret, something I can definitely relate to and am working to change.  Very moving video, for me anyway, so I wanted to share here.

The Anti-Gravity Relaxation Team… You may have seen them along with bands doing their thing for all to see, body suspension, I unfortunately have not gotten to see them yet, seems I always had something going on with my daughter or Melovine and didn’t get out to one of the shows.  Definitely will be checking out the next A.G.R.O. show.  Thought I’d pass along something a little different, check it out.
